This insurance can be purchased on-line subject to certain acceptance criteria. In particular, please note that you will not be able to purchase on-line if:

as an optometrist or dispensing optician, you are not registered with the General Optical Council
as an audiologist, you are not registered with the Hearing Aid Council
you have been practising for less than 3 years in the United Kingdom
you practice outside of the United Kingdom
you have ever been involved in an incident, which has or may result in a claim and/or legal action being brought against you for malpractice
